Visiting Hours and Visitation Policies

Faith Regional Health Services is a patient-centered healthcare organization and we recognize the importance visitors play in the care and recovery of patients while they are in our care. Please note that our visitation policies may change abruptly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We remain grateful for our communities' patience and understanding during this time of uncertainty. Our entire team is working together to ensure that our patients, guests, and staff remain safe and healthy while in our facilities.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours through the hospital's main entrance are Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. If you are arriving after 8:00 p.m. you need to use the Emergency room entrance.

Faith Regional encourages family and friends to visit. Periodically, visitation may be limited because of special circumstances or the patient's condition. As a visitor, you may be asked to leave the room when a doctor or nurse needs to see the patient or during tests or treatments. Please check with nursing staff for specific times if a patient has tests or therapies scheduled. If you have questions, please talk to a nurse or care provider.

Hospital and Visitor Policies

Faith Regional is no longer restricting visitation for non-COVID-19 patients. We encourage everyone to self-screen for illness before arriving at our facilities. If you are a patient with symptoms, please call your provider before arriving for your appointment or procedure.

COVID-19 positive patients may have two visitors at a time. To visit someone in the COVID-19 unit, you must be 19 years of age or older, must sign a COVID-19 visitation waiver, and you must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by Faith Regional Health Services staff.

Please follow current screening and masking guidance.

Behavioral Health Unit Visitation

Faith Regional's Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) is open to in-person visitation, but with restrictions. If you would like to schedule a visit to the BHU, you can call (402) 644-7461.

St. Joseph's and Skyview Villa Visitation

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released updated visitation guidelines for nursing homes. Due to these changes, St. Joseph's and Skyview Villa have updated their visitation guidelines.

You will no longer be required to schedule an appointment for visitation at either St. Joseph's or Skyview Villa. There are also no longer set visitation times. You may also visit residents or tenants in isolation, but you will be required to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes a mask, gown, gloves, and a face shield or goggles.

We will also continue to follow these infection control procedures:

  • You will be screened upon entering St. Joseph's or Skyview Villa.
  • You must perform hand hygiene when entering our facilities.
  • You must follow current masking guidance.
  • Social distancing will be required in the hallways and during visits. Due to the room size, three visitors at a time will be allowed in resident or tenant rooms. If you have a larger group, you can use our meeting room, parlor with the plexiglass divider, or choose to meet outside.
  • All visitors must go directly to the resident's or tenant's room or meeting room as directed.

If you have questions related to St. Joseph's and Skyview Villa visitation, please call (402) 644-7375.
