For many patients, recovery from an illness, surgery or treatment of an acute or chronic health condition does not always require a hospital or nursing home setting. Faith Regional Home Health offers professional health services which have been prescribed by a physician and are performed in the home of a patient. These services are provided on an intermittent basis to patients of all ages requiring a variety of assistance, from nursing care to therapy. Our goal is to decrease the time spent in a hospital by allowing you to recuperate at home, surrounded by familiar settings and friendly faces.

Registered Nurses provide a number of health care services, including:
  • Adult and Pediatric Assessment
  • Patient and Family Education
  • Progress Reports for Physician
  • Laboratory Procedures
  • Diabetic Management
  • Wound Care
  • Ostomy Care
  • Management of Feeding Tubes
  • Maternal and Infant Care
  • Infusion Therapy
  • Pain Control
  • Medication Management
  • Patient Education on Disease Management of New Diagnosis
Home Health Aides provide a variety of services, including assistance with daily living activities (under the supervision of a registered nurse), exercise and ambulation, and bathing and personal care.
Physical Therapists work with patients to help them improve:
  • Muscle, Nerve and Joint Function
  • Motor Skills
  • Balance
  • Stamina and Strength

Their services also include education for patients and caregivers to ensure safe mobility in the home including walking with the use of canes and walkers and getting in and out of  vehicles and the home.

Occupational Therapists provide customized treatment strategies for performing activities of daily living. They also provide education on using assistive devices needed for daily tasks and correct positioning to improve mobility outside the home.
Speech Therapists work with patients that have swallowing disorders, and assist them in developing and restoring skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, swallowing, memory and reasoning.
A Social Worker and a Dietitian are also available to assist with an individual's plan of care.
Faith Regional Home Health Office Hours:
Monday - Friday , 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Home Health Services are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
For after hours and weekend assistance, call Faith Regional Health Services at (402) 371-4880 and ask for the Home Health Nurse on call.

For Telecommunication Service for the Hearing Impaired TDD call (402) 371-4880. Faith Regional Health Services also provides bilingual staff to those who need assistance with communication.
