Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are research studies that involve people. They help find new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Each clinical trial is designed to answer a specific question about a new treatment and is often the last step in many years of research that started in a laboratory. Clinical trials help determine if a new treatment is safe, effective and works better than current treatments used.

Faith Regional Health Services offers clinical trials through the Cancer Alliance of Nebraska and the  Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. If you are eligible to enroll in a clinical trial, our clinical research nurse will work under the direction of the Principle Investigator to educate and manage your care while you are in a clinical trial.
