Are You Often Dizzy?

You may benefit from vestibular therapy if any of the following increase your dizziness or sense of spinning:

  • Bending over to pick up an items from the floor
  • Exertion
  • Looking around while walking down the aisle of a store
  • Quick movements of your head
  • Tipping your head up or back
  • Turning over in bed
  • Walking on uneven ground

Conditions We Treat

Your vestibular system, or balance system, includes your inner ear and nervous system. These help control your equilibrium, balance and orientation. You may find these difficult if you are living with or recovering from:

  • Ataxia
  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
  • Concussion or head injury
  • Deconditioning
  • Disuse atrophy
  • Disequilibrium
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Peripheral vertigo
  • Pharmacologic ototoxicity
  • Stable meniere's disease
  • Stroke
  • Vestibular neuronitis/labyrinthitis

Vestibular Rehabilitation

You’ll be evaluated by one of our physical therapists specifically trained in treating vestibular disorders to create a treatment plan tailored to your medical condition, lifestyle and individual needs.
