If you’ve been diagnosed with the beginning stages of osteoporosis or osteopenia, exercise is key treatment. In addition, you should also avoid certain exercises that put you at greater risk. At Faith Regional Health Services, you’ll be evaluated by a physical therapist specially trained in osteoporosis therapy to teach you the right exercises to do for your specific diagnosis and how to perform them safely.
