Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapist, Kylie Molacek, working with a patient.

Live as independently as possible with the help of the Faith Regional Health Services occupational therapy team. You can depend on your occupational therapist (OT) to help you gain skills and develop strategies to make daily tasks easier and safer.

Conditions We Treat

You may benefit from occupational therapy if you find that everyday tasks are challenging to do because of:

  • Aging
  • Amputation
  • Arthritis
  • Bone fracture
  • Burns
  • Cancer
  • Hand or arm injury or weakness
  • Neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and more
  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Tendonitis, sprains, strains, and more
  • Work-related injuries

Therapy can also help you prepare and recover from joint replacement or another surgical procedure.

Look forward to a customized treatment plan from your occupational therapist. Depending on your condition and needs, your plan may include:

  • Exercises to build strength and range of motion
