Diagnostic & Imaging Procedures
Get timely, reliable results that help your doctor make the best treatment recommendations for you. At Faith Regional Health Services, we offer a full range of heart and vascular tests:
Cardiac catheterization
Guides a small, hollow tube (catheter) through an artery into the heart and then injects contrast dye to show the heart and blood vessels in real time
Coronary angiogram computerized tomography (CT)
Checks for narrowed or blocked arteries in your heart with an imaging machine
Echocardiography (Echo)
Uses ultrasound to show your heart as it beats
Electrocardiogram (EKG)
Places sticky patches with electrodes on your chest to record the heart’s electrical signals
Electrophysiology study
Guides a tiny wire through an artery to your heart to check your heart’s electrical activity
Heart scan (coronary calcium scan)
Evaluates plaque build up in your blood vessels using an imaging machine
Holter monitoring and event monitoring
Tracks your heart rhythm when you wear a small device
Nuclear study
Uses a small, safe amount of radioactive material (tracer) and an imaging machine to evaluate your heart
Stress test
Shows how your heart works during physical activity
Your Results
Rest assured, a board-certified cardiologist at Faith Regional Health Services will review and post your results in your OneChart patient portal. Discuss your results with your cardiologist and primary care provider to learn if you need follow-up care.
If you do not have a OneChart patient portal, someone from our heart and vascular team will call with your results. If you have not received your results within 3-5 days of your testing being completed, please call (402) 844-8284 to get your results.
