COVID-19 Vaccine

Vaccinations continue to play a critical role in protecting Nebraskans against COVID-19 and slowing the spread of the virus.

In Nebraska, state and local health departments are coordinating all local COVID-19 vaccinations. It’s unknown exactly how long each phase of vaccine distribution will last. Please remain vigilant in wearing your mask, social distancing, washing your hands, and staying home when you are sick.

Getting Your COVID-19 Vaccine

The entire state of Nebraska is eligible to administer the Pfizer vaccines to those ages 12 and older and the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines to ages 18 and older. If between the ages of 12 - 18, a parent must accompany the individual.

  • Faith Regional receives an allocated number of vaccines each week to administer to those age 12 and older. Call (402) 844-8244 to schedule a vaccine appointment at Faith Regional.

  • If you live in the Elkhorn Valley Public Health District (Burt, Cuming, Madison and Stanton counties), visit the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department web site to discover other vaccination opportunities within the health district.

  • If you live outside the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health District, contact your local health department for vaccination opportunities.

  • COVID-19 vaccines are also being offered through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program. Visit the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services web site for a list of pharmacies.

If you previously registered with a local health department or with the state, you will also be contacted with vaccine opportunities near you. If you've been vaccinated already, please let your local health department know.
