My doctor was quite knowledgeable about my condition and shared lots of valuable information. However, this was information I already knew since I have been diagnosed with it for a few years. What I wished this provider would have done was ask me what I need and what symptoms I am having rather than listing them out for me. In no way am I trying to disrespect this provider, they are incredibly knowledgeable. I wish they just took the time to actually get to know me and my needs even just sharing how I can combat the symptoms I have been experiencing. Instead I was given a plan on how to lose more weight, mind you I have been on my weight loss journey for a few months now and in a weight management program. The provider failed to ask these details from me and I felt a bit insulted and uncomfortable when discussing my weight because well I didn't ask about that.
