Faith Regional Hosts Free Injury Clinic for Student Athletes this Fall

If your child comes home after Friday night’s game complaining of a pain, don’t wait until Monday to get it checked out. Faith Regional Health Services is once again hosting its Free Injury Clinic on Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. for student athletes. The free clinic will be held at Faith Regional Physician Services Urgent Care, 2024 W. Pasewalk Ave., in Norfolk. Free sport injury assessments will be performed by a Faith Regional Sports Medicine provider. No appointment needed. X-ray services are available on-site for a required fee and any referrals will be made to the physician of your choice if needed. The clinic will be offered every Saturday morning through October 24, 2020. 

“It’s important to get injuries checked out to get the diagnostic and treatment plan going in a timely fashion to get student athletes back to play,” said Dr. Jared Rickert, an orthopedic surgeon at Faith Regional Health Services.
