Faith Regional Health Services has a fully equipped physical therapy clinic that specializes in the rehabilitation of a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including but not limited to:

Overall patient health and satisfaction is one our top priorities. We strive to educate our patients in all facets of health. We believe that a patient who understands his or her condition will be more willing to participate fully in their individual program, assuring a successful outcome

Outpatient Physical Therapy

We simulate “real life” conditions throughout the rehabilitative process ensuring our patients have regained the skills necessary to return to their daily activities, both recreationally and at work.

Facility
We have over 5,000 square feet of space with state-of-the-art equipment for all aspects of treament.

Aquatic Therapy
Our heated pool is on-site and accessible to patients by stairs or hydraulic lift. Our aquatic therapy program helps improve outcomes in patients with arthritis, SCI and other orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Pediatric Therapy
Outpatient pediatric therapy is performed in a private non-distracting child-friendly environment.

Erin Baumert, PT, DPT

Erin acheived her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Doane College and then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2005. She began her career in a small hospital based clinic doing both acute and outpatient care. She then became a traveling Physical therapist and worked in New Mexico, Oregon, and Nebraska, where she worked with a variety of patients in various settings. Erin and her husband relocated to Norfolk when she joined the outpatient team at Faith Regional. Her professional interests include balance and vestibular rehabilitation and she enjoys working with a wide variety of age groups. She is currently working with her fellow therapists to develop a vestibular rehabilitation program at FRHS. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising and golfing.

Russ Baumert, PT, DPT

Russ is a native of Northeast Nebraska, growing up in Howells. Russ attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and received a Bachelor of Medicine and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005. He started his career in a Nebraska hospital and helped develop a total joint replacement program. He went on to perform contract work as a traveling Physical Therapist in a variety of settings in the Western U.S. including New Mexico and Oregon. Russ loves working with athletes. He recently became the only Physical Therapist in the area who is certified in a nationally recognized ACL injury prevention program called Sportsmetrics™. He looks forward to building this program at area schools with the athletic trainers. In his free time, Russ enjoys outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Renee Dominy, PT, DPT

Renee is a graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received a Bachelor of Medicine degree in exercise science and a Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She began her career specializing in physical rehabilitation among individuals recovering from the effects of cancer but now embraces the outpatient rehabilitation setting where she is involved with patients of all ages, particularly those needing therapy following surgery. Renee enjoys working with both athletes and non-athletes but has a heart for the pediatric population. Renee likes spending time with her family, being outdoors, and volunteering in the community.   

Marvin Hall, PT

Marvin is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has 25 years experience in physical therapy and has lived in Norfolk for 19 years. He has extensive experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, education, and administration. Marvin recently joined the Acute Rehab/Transitional Care therapy team. He enjoys spending time with family, caring for his acreage, reading and gardening.

Doris Krueger, PT

Doris is a graduate of University of Nebraska Medical Center and has worked in the Norfolk area for over 20 years. She has worked in all areas of the rehab team, but most recently works with Faith Regional Home Health patient visits, and skilled therapy services at Saint Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center. Krueger enjoys working one on one with her patients and especially enjoys the elderly.

Danelle Jaeke, PT

Danelle received her bachelor of science in biology at Morningside College in Sioux City and then graduated from The University of Iowa with her Masters in Physical Therapy in 1993. She has 15 years of experience in physical therapy, all of which have been at Faith Regional Health Services. She has worked in every area of physical therapy at FRHS, including outpatient, ARU/TCU, Home Health, St Joseph's and acute care at West campus. Currently, she is the primary therapist at west campus and enjoys the variety and fast pace this setting offers. She is currently looking to advance her skills in the cardio-pulmonary setting and hopes to help establish and develop a walking program. She is married with 4 boys who keep her very busy. She enjoys gardening, spending time with family and friends and going to soccer games.

Sheri Sheriff, PT

Sheri is the Outpatient Therapy Manager at Faith Regional Health Services.  She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters in Physical Therapy, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy through Des Moines University. She specialized in pediatrics the first three years after graduation, and then expanded her focus to encompass all ages of patients. Sheri has helped to develop several specialized programs at Faith Regional including programs involving osteoporosis, office ergonomics, core strengthening, and a pre-natal/post-natal rehabilitation. Sheri focuses on complete rehabilitation, prevention of future problems and patient education. Sheri enjoys spending time with her family and loves to run, ski, fish and travel.

Stacey Devall, PTA

Originally from Maryland, Stacey graduated summa cum laude from Allegany College of Maryland in 2001 with her associate degree from the physical therapy assistant program. Following graduation, Stacey worked in a local outpatient and sports medicine clinic and focused on back injury rehabilitation and aquatics. She relocated to Nebraska and joined Faith Regional in 2006. Her professional interests include post-op rehabilitation of total joint replacements, lumbar fusions and aquatic therapy. Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, reading, exercising and visiting the ocean whenever possible.

Kelly Kelley, PTA

Kelly graduated from the Northeast Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in 1999. She began her career at Faith Regional as a Rehabilitation Tech and has now worked in Rehabilitation Services for over ten years. She has furthered her training by completing many educational courses that emphasized aquatic therapy. Kelly enjoys the patients that she works with in both Transitional Care and Acute Rehabilitation. Her personal interests include skiing, exercising, dirt track racing, watching Nascar and being with her boys.

Kim Reich, PTA

Kim graduated from the Northeast Community College Physical Therapy Assistant program in 1997. She has worked at Faith Regional for over ten years experiencing many areas at Faith Regional including Outpatient Physical Therapy, Transitional Care, Home Health Care, Long-term Care and Outpatient Clinics. She has gained extensive knowledge working with geriatric and orthopedic patients including those with balance deficits or are recovering from total joint replacement or arthroscopic surgery. Kim has a passion for exercise and enjoys the satisfaction that comes with teaching others the fundamentals of increasing strength and improving range of motion. With a Bachelor’s degree in Family Resources, her personal interests involve nutrition, healthy foods and cooking. Kim has three sons, one daughter and one daughter-in-law. Through therapy, Kim is able to give her patients the push they are grateful for to help them succeed. Kim continues to offer a genuine and sincere interest to help others “be the best they can be!”

Shelley Smith, PTA

Shelley graduated from the Northeast Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program. She has experience in many areas of physical therapy including orthopedics, geriatrics, acute, swing bed/transitional care, skilled care, home health and aquatics. Shelley has completed continuing education in geriatrics/skilled care, neuro re-education, aquatics and orthopedics. She has worked at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, West Point and Columbus Community Hospital, Columbus. She recently joined the Faith Regional Staff to be closer to home. Shelley enjoys spending time at home with her husband and preparing for a new addition to the family this fall. Shelley also enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors.

Wendi Valverde, PTA

Wendi graduated from the Northeast Community College Physical Therapy Assistant program. She has extensive experience in Orthopedic Geriatrics and Acute Rehabilitation. Wendi enjoys volleyball, hunting and playing with her boys.
