“After we made the decision to come to Faith Regional’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit to recover from my stroke, we were a little nervous because we had people asking if we were going to Lincoln or Omaha for this type of care. We began questioning ourselves, ‘Did we choose the right facility?’ I’ve now spent 14 days here and I know we made the right choice. The therapists, nurses and staff are excellent - very compassionate and professional. They make things enjoyable but still get the job done. The hands-on care I received was great. The doctor was very patient and explained everything, thoroughly. Also, being in Norfolk meant my wife could be at home and still only be five minutes away. We got to know the staff and the other patients, which gave it that small-town feeling. I hope I never have a need for this type of care again but if I do, I know where I would go.” - Dean S., Norfolk
