The Board of Directors of Faith Regional Health Services (Faith Regional) and the Lutheran Community Hospital Association Board of Directors (LCHA) accepted the resignation submitted by Mark Klosterman, President and Chief Executive Officer, on Monday, August 6, 2018. Klosterman was appointed President and CEO of Faith Regional in 2014.
Mr. Klosterman has led the organization in a variety of growth initiatives, quality achievements and investments in the health and wellness of the region that has shaped the organization from a community hospital to a leading health system in northeast Nebraska. While his accomplishments during his tenure at Faith Regional are many, highlights include increased cultural engagement, continued service line development, expanding regional partnerships with other health systems, numerous national awards for quality and patient care, navigating the hospital through a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system selection, evolving the development of leaders including physicians, and improved access to care with the opening of 20 clinics, surgery expansion, relocation of the behavior health unit, construction of the new south medical office building and the expansion of specialties offered in conjunction with recruitment of 44 physicians and 54 advanced care practitioners.

The success we have achieved as an organization has been truly remarkable and has set the organization up for additional success in the future,” Klosterman stated. “Faith Regional is fortunate to have a talented and dedicated leadership team who will continue to lead the organization on its strategic vision forward.”

Kelly Driscoll, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional Health Services will serve as the interim CEO and President.
