Norfolk – June 17, 2014: A total of 17 patient contacts were treated at Faith Regional Health Services following the tornadoes that produced destruction in the communities of Stanton and Pilger in northeast Nebraska on Monday, June 16. As of 1:00 p.m. today, three adult patients still remain hospitalized. One patient was transferred to an Omaha area hospital Monday evening and there was one fatality – a 5-year-old girl. The other 12 patients were treated and released throughout the night. In addition to the 17 patient contacts, one additional patient on a ventilator whose home was destroyed by the tornado was admitted to Faith Regional.
