Norfolk Hospital’s Chief Information Officer Recognized in Becker’s Hospital Review.

Brian Sterud, M.B.A., C.H.C.I.O., Faith Regional Health Services’ Chief Information Officer, has been named one of 113 hospital and health system CIOs to know in 2017 by Becker’s Hospital Review. According to the December 13, 2016 article, the executives on Becker’s Hospital Review list are leading their organizations through healthcare's technology revolution, overseeing EHR installations, new patient portals and telemedicine advancements while working to keep data secure from breaches.

Sterud joined Faith Regional in 2012 as Vice President of Information Systems. Sterud was previously director of information management at Brookings (S.D.) Health Systems. He has worked in numerous roles within the healthcare industry, including as network analyst and data systems engineer.
