Masquerade Gala to Benefit Orthopedic Needs

Masquerade Gala LogoFaith Regional Health Services Foundation is preparing to “Let the Good Times Roll…Part Deux” at this year’s 2019 Masquerade Gala to be held on Saturday, April 13 at the Divots DeVent Center in Norfolk. The annual event begins at 5:30 p.m. and includes an evening of delicious dining, raffles, silent and live auctions, and entertainment inspired by the traditions of Mardi Gras and Masquerade Balls. Guests will also enjoy the musical talents of the Omaha band, Heartland Boogie Band, starting at 9:00 p.m. Masks are encouraged but not required.

This year’s proceeds will benefit Faith Regional Orthopedics by helping to purchase the Multix Fusion Max digital X-ray system that will be installed in the new South Medical Office Building, scheduled to open later this year. Orthopedics is one of Faith Regional’s fastest growing service lines. Currently, more than 5,000 orthopedic patients are seen at Faith Regional each year. With advances in technology and the recruitment of additional providers, the number of orthopedic procedures performed at Faith Regional will only continue to grow. This new, top-of-the-line X-ray system provides outstanding image quality from head-to-toe on patients young and old, delivering high quality-results and improved outcomes combined with smart cost-reduction solutions. It’s one more way Faith Regional continues to provide exemplary care to our patients right here at home.

The Gala is Faith Regional’s largest fundraiser. Last year’s Gala was unfortunately cancelled due to a blizzard. However, with the generous support of donors, sponsors, and community members, the Foundation still raised $150,000 to purchase labor tubs, baby warmers and baby bassinets for the Women’s and Children’s Unit at Faith Regional.
