Faith Regional Receives 4 out of 5 Star Rating on Hospital Compare

Faith Regional Health Services has received a 4 out of 5-star overall rating on Medicare.Gov Hospital Compare, an official U.S. Government site for Medicare. Faith Regional is just one of 4 acute care hospitals in Nebraska to receive this rating. According to this site, Faith Regional has scored better than the national average in safety measures, readmission measures, effectiveness of care measures and timeliness of care measures. Faith Regional has scored the same as the national average in mortality measures, patient experience, and imaging efficiency. These results are based on data hospitals submitted to Medicare from October 2014 through September 2015.

“This 4-Star Rating is a huge accomplishment for Faith Regional Health Services,” said Laura Gamble, Director of Quality, Utilization Review, Case Management and Social Work. “It shows how dedicated Faith Regional’s administration and staff are toward giving great patient care to the patients that choose to come here. Every day I witness our employees striving to do what is best for our patients. From implementation of purposeful hourly rounding to the great work that is done to prevent infections, staff understand what it takes to keep our patients safe and satisfied during their hospitalization. We look forward to continuing making Faith Regional the regional choice for our patients.”
