Healthgrades Women's Health Excellence AwardFaith Regional Health Services announced today that it is one of three hospitals in Nebraska to achieve the Healthgrades 2015 Women’s Health Excellence Award™ according to Healthgrades, the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals. The recognition distinguishes Faith Regional as a top performing hospital in women’s health across the nation.

“This award is an honor and tribute to the oustanding team providing patient-centered, high quality care throughout Faith Regional Health Services, including the areas of heart care, orthopedics, pulmonary and neurosciences,” said Mark Klosterman, FACHE, CMPE, President and CEO of Faith Regional. “We are excited about this recognition as women’s health will continue to be a focus and a priority at Faith Regional now and into the future.”

“The identification and treatment of medical conditions for women is very different than diagnosing and treating men, therefore it is vitally important that women understand their risks and select a hospital accordingly,” said Evan Marks, Chief Strategy Officer, Healthgrades. “The Healthgrades 2015 Women’s Health Excellence Award recipients have demonstrated exceptional performance and a dedicated approach to delivering superior quality care for women.”

Healthgrades 2015 Women’s Health Excellence Award recipient hospitals have the potential to save women’s lives.
