Erin Baumert, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Erin Baumert is a 2005 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been practicing at Faith Regional since 2008 in the outpatient therapy department. Erin earned MDT Certification from The McKenzie Institute® USA Center for Postgraduate Study in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) in 2018. She completed a series of advanced postgraduate courses and passed a credentialing examination to become a certified practitioner of the McKenzie Method® of MDT. She utilizes the evidence-based patient management system proven to eliminate back, neck and extremity pain in fewer visits compared to traditional treatment. Erin also has advanced training in vestibular disorders and is certified in Occupational Medicine through OccuPro. During her tenure at Faith Regional, Erin has developed programs for patients with vestibular dysfunction as well as industrial rehabilitation. She understands how debilitating vestibular disorders can be for people and has a passion to find and treat the underlying cause of dizziness. She has expertise in job-site services and occupational demand evaluations, as well as functional capacity evaluations. Regardless if a patient’s problem is orthopedic or neurologic in nature, Erin is dedicated to treating all her patients with the most up-to-date techniques in conjunction with her vast orthopedic and neurologic knowledge and experience to address all functional problems and help each person return to their pre-injury level. In her free-time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and golfing.
