Freedom From Smoking® features a step-by-step plan for quitting smoking. Each session is designed to help smokers gain control over their behavior. Participants are encouraged to work on the process and problems of quitting both individually and as part of a group.
The program offers a structured, systematic approach to quitting with a positive focus and an emphasis on the benefits of better health. Because no single cessation technique is effective for all smokers, the program includes a comprehensive variety of evidence-based cessation techniques.
Since it was first introduced almost 30 years ago, this program has helped over a million Americans end their addiction to nicotine and begin new, smoke-free lives. Freedom From Smoking® was ranked the most effective smoking cessation program in a study by Fordham University Graduate School of Business

Classes meet weekly for 7 weeks/8 sessions from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Participants will meet for a second session during the 4th week of class (48 hours after the 4th session).
