  • Mark Klosterman, FACHE, CMPE

    President and CEO

    Bio

    Mark Klosterman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from South Dakota State University in 1995.  He has a Master’s degree in both Information Technology and Business Administration.

    Prior to 2010, Klosterman served as the Administrator and CEO at two different hospitals:  Avera Gregory Healthcare Center in South Dakota, from  2004 to 2005 and Franklin General Hospital/Franklin Medical Center in Hampton, Iowa, part of the Mercy North Iowa Network, from 2005 to 2010. 

    Since 2010, Klosterman has served as the President and CEO at St. Joseph’s Hospital-Breese in Illinois, which is part of the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) that has 13 hospitals and a physician network across Illinois and Wisconsin.  St. Joseph’s Hospital is a full-service, acute care facility comprised of 72-beds, four clinics, 28 active medical staff and 425 employees.

    At St. Joseph’s Hospital, Klosterman has lead his team through Meaningful Use Stage 1 and 2, the implementation of LEAN principles throughout the organization, achieved the highest employee and physician engagement with HSHS, and  achieved HCAHPS at the 99th percentile.  In addition, the hospital has been recognized for numerous awards by Healthgrades including Outstanding Patient Experience five years in a row and Patient Safety Excellence Award, and Leapfrog “A” rating three times in a row.

    Klosterman and his wife Stacie, who is a native of Orange City, Iowa, have three daughters.

  • Kelly Driscoll, R.N., M.H.A., F.A.C.H.E.

    Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

    Bio

    Kelly Driscoll received her Registered Nurse degree from Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta, Iowa.  She continued her education at the Hamilton Business College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, receiving her Bachelors in Business Administration degree.  She then completed her Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.

    Since 1999, Driscoll has held management positions including Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, and Interim CEO with Unity Point Health System in Iowa.  In 2011, Mrs. Driscoll was hired as Vice President of Patient Care Services at Faith Regional Health Services. In 2012 Driscoll received the distinguished certification as a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2013, she accepted the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional. Currently, Kelly holds the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer position as well as Chief Operating Officer.

    Mrs. Driscoll is married and has three children.

  • Chuck Bruhn

    Interim Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services

    Bio

    Chuck Bruhn received his Bachelor of Marketing degree and completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.

    Bruhn brings over thirty years of administrative healthcare leadership experience including nearly fifteen years at the CEO level.  In 2009, Chuck retired from his role as President of Genesis Medical Center in the Quad Cities and has since pursued various interim leadership engagements and projects.
    In 2013, Bruhn accepted the position of Interim Vice President of Support and Ancillary Services at Faith Regional Health Services. 

    Mr. Bruhn has two children.

  • Timothy Davy, M.D.

    Interim Chief Medical Officer

    Bio

    Timothy Davy, M.D., was a Regents Scholar at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1976. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, receiving his Medical degree in 1979. He did a residency in Family Medicine at UNMC, including a stint as Chief Resident in Family Medicine in 1982, completing residency in 1982. He completed Board Certification in Family Medicine later that year and has maintained that certification up to the present time.

    Dr. Davy was the Chief of the Medical Staff for Our Lady of Lourdes at the time of the merger of Our Lady of Lourdes and Lutheran Community Hospital, forming Faith Regional Health Services, and became the first Chief of Staff of the newly merged entity. After completing that term, he became the first Vice President for Medical Affairs (V.P.M.A.) of Faith Regional, and served in that capacity from 1997 through 2007. Subsequently he again served as the Chief of Staff in 2008-09 and resumed the role of V.P.M.A. in July of 2011, currently serving as the V.P.M.A. and interim Chief Medical Officer for Faith Regional.

    Dr. Davy is married. He has three sons and five grandchildren.

  • Lisa Parks, R.N., B.S.N.

    Director of Nursing

    Bio

    Lisa Parks received her Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of South Dakota in 1985, after working several years as an LPN.  She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska in 1994.

    Parks worked as a staff nurse in many areas of nursing including Medical/Surgical Nursing, Emergency Room, OB, Hospice, and Long Term Care. She began her career in management in 1998 as the Director of Transitional Care (Skilled Care) at Faith Regional Health Services. Over the next 13 years, she provided direct oversight of Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health, Hospice, Dialysis, and Mental Health, becoming an Executive Director in 2011. In 2014, she accepted her current role as Director of Nursing at Faith Regional.

    Mrs.Parks is a Norfolk native. She is married and has twin daughters.

  • Janet Pinkelman

    Vice President of Human Resources and Mission Services

    Bio

    Janet Pinkelman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. She currently has over thirty years of experience in Human Resources, including recruitment and retention, employee and management training, policy assessment, performance management, and benefit administration.

    In 1985, Pinkelman became the Personnel Director of the Lutheran Community Hospital. In 1996, Mrs. Pinkelman was hired as Human Resources Director at Faith Regional Health Services. In 2010, Pinkelman accepted her current role as Vice President of Human Resources and Mission Services.

    Mrs. Pinkelman is married and has three children.

  • Patrick Roche

    Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional Physician Services

    Bio

    Patrick Roche received his degrees in Combined Science: Biology and Chemistry, Theology and Medical Technology, from Carroll College in Helena, MT. He completed his Medical Technology Clinical Internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.

    Since 1986, Roche has held several management positions including Laboratory Director, Laboratory and Joint Commission Accreditation Consultant and Director of Ancillary Services at hospitals in Nebraska and Colorado. In 1996, Mr. Roche was hired as Vice President of Mission & Quality at Faith Regional Health Services. In 2009, Roche accepted his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional Physician Services.

    Mr. Roche is married and has five children.

  • Brian Sterud, C.H.C.I.O, C.P.H.I.M.S.

    Chief Information Officer

    Bio

    Brian Sterud received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD in 2001. In 2011, he graduated from CIO Boot Camp at the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. Sterud is a Certified Healthcare CIO and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems. He is currently continuing his education at the University of South Dakota, in Vermillion, SD, and will receive his Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA) with specialization in Health Services Administration in 2014.

    Since 2001, Sterud has built a strong knowledge of the technology needs and initiatives within the healthcare industry, including the position of Network Analyst, Remote Systems Engineer and Consultant and Data Systems Engineer.  In 2008, Mr. Sterud became the Director of Information Management at Brookings Health Systems. In 2012, Sterud accepted his current role as Vice President of Information Systems at Faith Regional Health Services.

    Mr. Sterud is married and has two children.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Bio

    John Wilker received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. He currently has over thirty years of CFO experience, including for-profit, non-profit, and government-owned hospitals. Wilker has worked in private and public, acute care and psychiatric, teaching, community, and regional medical centers.  His experience includes rural, urban, and metropolitan markets in Utah, Arizona, California, Idaho, and Nebraska.

    In 2012, Wilker accepted his current position as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Faith Regional Health Services. 

    Mr. Wilker is married and has four children and three grandchildren.
